Some of you have been walking through a darkness you never asked for. Some of you have been fighting battles nobody sees. Some of you have been holding on by a thread… and tonight, God is whispering, “Hold tight to Me. Don’t let go.”

If you feel the pull… If you feel the weight… If you feel the darkness trying to dim your light… this is your moment to step out of the shadows and step toward the One who never let's go.

If your grip has been slipping… If your integrity has been tested… If your heart has been tired… come.

Come and say, “Lord, I’m holding tight again. I’m clinging to Your Word. I’m choosing Your light over my darkness. I’m choosing Your truth over my feelings. I’m choosing integrity over compromise.”

14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. - Philippians 2:14–16

Made for demonstration , clear and bright, a living witness to the night— His love that heals, His heart so true, His character seen in all you do.

His courage rising when fear draws near, continue to speak even when the world can’t hear. You’re made to stand out - bold and strong, a blazing anthem, a living song.

For the world needs light in this very hour, not hidden away, but full of power— not someday soon, not when you’re “ready,” but now, with faith that’s firm and steady.

So shine with purpose, shine with grace, shine in every single place. The flame He lit is meant to be seen - a holy spark, a pure life no in-betweens.

And when you shine without a doubt, you don’t just glow— you stand out . You focus on the One above, the God of truth, the Lord of love.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Shine in your workplace. Shine in your family. Shine in your neighborhood. Shine in your school. Shine in your conversations. Shine in your character. The world is messed up— but that’s exactly why God needs His people to stand up.

You don’t shine by being perfect. You shine by being different.

Different spirit.

There are moments in life when God doesn’t whisper— He hits our hearts with a holy WHAM . Not to knock us down, but to wake us up, to remind us who He is, who we are, and what we’re called to do.

W — Worship. Before God changes our situation, He often changes our posture. Worship shifts the atmosphere. It breaks chains we didn’t even know we were carrying.

H — Hope. Hope is heaven’s oxygen. When the world tries to suffocate us with fear, God breathes hope back into our lungs and reminds us that His promises still stand.

A — Assurance. Assurance is the quiet confidence that even when we can’t trace God’s hand, we can trust His heart. He is with us, for us, and working in ways we cannot yet see.

M — Mission. And once God fills us, He sends us. Mission is not a suggestion—it’s a calling. We are carriers of light, ambassadors of grace, and witnesses of a Kingdom that cannot be shaken.

So today, let God hit your spirit with WHAM —Worship that lifts you, Hope that anchors you, Assurance that steadies you, and Mission that sends you out with fire.

Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. – Jesus in John 17:17-18

Every now and then, something happens that is so unexpected, so disruptive, so worldaltering that it forces us to reinterpret everything we thought we knew. For some people, it was the moment they held their first child. For others, it was the day they survived something they shouldn’t have survived. For many, it was the moment they heard the doctor say, “It’s gone. You’re healed.” ---These moments don’t just change your day—they change your reality. Easter is the ultimate realityshifting moment. It is the day when God rewrote the rules of life and death. It is the day when the impossible became the undeniable. It is the day when the world’s greatest fear—death—was defeated by God’s greatest gift—life.

Palm Sunday cheers fade. But the cross stands forever as the revelation of who God truly is.

The cross looks like defeat—but it is victory.
It looks like weakness—but it is power.
It looks like foolishness—but it is wisdom.

The cross confronts us so it can transform us.

What kind of Messiah are you really following? One who fits your expectations, or the One who confronts and transforms them. The cross still stands in the middle of our path— not as a decoration, not as a symbol of comfort, but as a confrontation.

Will you embrace the crucified Christ, or cling to a Christ of your own making? Palm Sunday is more than a celebration—it is a crossroads. The crowds welcomed Jesus with branches, but the cross demands more than branches. It demands decision.

The cross confronts every one of us. It confronts our pride. It confronts our expectations. It confronts our demands for a God who fits our preferences. And it confronts our comfortable, halfhearted discipleship.

So, will you follow the real Jesus—the crucified King—or the version of Jesus that asks nothing, costs nothing, and changes nothing?

On this Palm Sunday, Jesus rides into your life once again—not to be applauded, but to be obeyed. Not to be cheered, but to be crowned. Not to meet your expectations, but to transform your heart. The cross is not an accessory. It is not a symbol to admire. It is a Savior to surrender to.

When Jesus stood before Pilate, He didn’t flinch, didn’t negotiate, didn’t defend Himself. He simply declared a truth so explosive that it still shakes the earth today: “My Kingdom is not of this world.”

That wasn’t weakness. That was royalty speaking. Jesus was saying, “Pilate, you think you’re judging Me… but you don’t even have jurisdiction. Your throne is temporary. Mine is eternal.” And here’s the part that should make every believer’s heartbeat faster: If His Kingdom is not of this world… then neither are its citizens. That means you. “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 3:20

You are not defined by this world’s systems, limited by this world’s resources, or confined by this world’s expectations. You belong to a Kingdom that cannot be voted out, shaken down, canceled, or conquered.

You carry Heaven’s identity. You walk with Heaven’s authority. You live under Heaven’s economy. So lift your head. Straighten your shoulders. Get excited. Because when Jesus said, “My Kingdom is not from here,”

He was also saying, “And My people don’t live like they’re from here either.”

Jesus speaks these following words on the eve of His crucifixion. The disciples are anxious, confused, and afraid of what’s coming. Into that tension, Jesus offers two gifts that will sustain them—and us—through every season of uncertainty: the Holy Spirit and His peace.

25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. – John 14:25-27

The Holy Spirit brings the peace of Christ to life within us. The Spirit reminds us of God’s promises when we forget. The Spirit whispers truth when lies overwhelm us. The Spirit strengthens us when our hearts grow weary. The Spirit centers us in Christ when chaos surrounds us. Where the Spirit dwells, peace grows.

This can be your B.A.M. moment! — Breakthrough, Alignment, Movement - Breakthrough — The Spirit breaks chains and opens doors (Acts 16:26) . Alignment — The Spirit aligns our hearts with God’s will (Romans 8:14). Movement — The Spirit propels the church forward (Acts 2).

The Christian life is not powered by human strength but by God’s indwelling presence. Accept Jesus’ Gift of the Holy Spirit and His Peace.

The Light That Exposes the World’s Darkness by Pastor Ty

Spiritual Darkness represents confusion, sin, and spiritual blindness. In John 1:5 declares, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” Jesus exposes what is broken, false, and destructive. Darkness cannot overpower or extinguish His light.

“People loved darkness rather than light because their works were evil.” — John 3:19–20

“I am the light of the world.” — John 8:12

Light doesn’t argue with darkness. Light doesn’t negotiate with darkness. Light simply shines—and darkness loses. Darkness doesn’t fight light, it simply disappears. Jesus doesn’t just reveal darkness—He defeats it.

When we are born again, Jesus places His light in us. We become His witnesses in a dark world. We don’t just see the light—we become carriers of it to the world around us.

That paints a great picture of God’s majestic plan, but Jesus’ ultimate answer is it’s “A Kingdom Not from Here”

In John 18:36 , Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

Jesus’ kingdom is not upheld by armies or defended by violence. It is a kingdom of transformed hearts, not conquered territories. The world cannot stop what it did not start.

Yes, a kingdom the world cannot control. Thank you, Jesus, for allowing us to be forgiven and that the resurrection proves that truth ultimately triumphs over every earthly power.

Jesus’ identity is the central question of the gospel — and the central question of every human life. In John 8:21-30, He reveals who He is by contrasting where He comes from and where we are living.

Jesus Is the One Who Comes from Above. Jesus confirms this truth in John 8:23 — “You are from below; I am from above.” His origin is not earthly but divine Jesus is not merely a teacher, prophet, or miracle worker. He comes from the presence of the Father — from eternity into time. His authority flows from His identity, not from human approval.

Our problem is not ignorance but separation “You are from below” exposes humanity’s spiritual condition. Sin doesn’t just make us bad — it makes us lost, unable to reach God on our own. We need Someone from above to rescue those below. You cannot understand Jesus until you understand where He comes from If He is from above, then His words carry heavenly weight. If He is from above, then His mission is not optional — it is essential.

There are three questions we need to ask ourselves.

1. Where have I been? Honestly admit your mistakes. ask God for

forgiveness and be about HIS business! If we confess our sins, he is

faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all

unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 - Let us not become weary in doing good, for

at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9

2. Where am I now? The choices we make need to honor Christ in

everything we do… For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to

do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:10

3 . Where am I going? Honor and deal with the past but keep going

forward. God will feed your heart through His Word, but we must seek

Him to be transformed. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the

Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and

a future. Jeremiah 29:11

I recently shared an event in my life where I was able to share the Gospel with a

young man. It was a chance meeting, but God was there and he accept Jesus as

his Savior. It’s awesome to be part of a Spiritual encounter, but we need to be

ready. Here’s three take aways from these occasions:

1 . Be in the Right Place - Location, location, location. Proverbs 16:9 tells us; “In

their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” – Go

as God leads and say Yes to His instructions.

2. Be Prepared – Yes, it’s the Boy Scout Moto but it should be a Christ Follower’s

as well. 1 Peter 3:15 instructs us; “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always

be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for

the hope that you have.” Share Jesus and then Ask if they believe.

3. Have your Spiritual Antennas Up! – That causes better reception of the signal

that’s being sent. Colossians 4:5 “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders;

make the most of every opportunity.”- Divine Appointments await – be tuned in!

Let’s commit on being where God wants us to be, prepared, and with our

antennas up every day. Amen?

Being a Bezalel by Pastor Ty

In our journey through life, we often wonder about our purpose and the gifts we have been given. The story of Bezalel in Exodus provides us with a beautiful example of how God calls and equips individuals for His work.

Exodus 35:30-33 - 30 Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— 32 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 33 to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts.

Exodus 36:1-2 - 1 So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the Lord has commanded.” 2 Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work.

Just as God called Bezalel, He calls each of us uniquely to fulfill His purposes. It's a reminder that we are not here by accident but by divine design. God's equipping of Bezalel reminds us that He provides us with the abilities and talents necessary to accomplish the tasks He sets before us. Our skills and gifts are not just for our benefit but for the service of His Kingdom. Bezalel teaches us the importance of working together in the body of Christ. Each person's unique gifts contribute to the larger mission, and together, we can achieve great things for God's glory.

Bezalel life is a powerful reminder that God calls and equips each of us for His purposes. Whether in artistry, teaching, leadership, or any other field, we are given talents to serve Him and His people. Let us embrace our God-given gifts and work together to build His Kingdom, trusting that He will guide and equip us every step of the way.

What does your life say you believe about God?

Life consists of Actions (priorities), Your thoughts, Time, Money, and even about what excites you. Is Good News - Christ honoring or self-focused?

You need to focus more on not what you say you believe, but what does your life show the world.

How we view God is how we should live – It matters. 2 Peter 3:18 says: “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”

Growing brings us closer to the heart and mind of Jesus. Remember what we are taught in Matthew 5:16 - "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." – Jesus

In the Bible, Humility is defined as a heart attitude characterized by meekness, and an acknowledgment of our need for God. It involves submitting to God's will and trusting in His sovereignty. Humility is not just about modesty; it is essential for cultivating a closer relationship with God and promotes love, kindness, and forgiveness in our interactions with others.

The Bible teaches that true greatness comes from humility, as exemplified in Matthew 18:4, where Jesus states that those who humble themselves will be exalted.

One of my favorite reminders of this is: "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." In James 4:10

Start with Humility first and Growing, Serving, Learning, Giving, and Commitment will come naturally. 2026 may be your best year ever.

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. – Jesus in John 10:10-11

Living in the Gift means following Jesus the Good Shepherd. Abundant life is not automatic; it’s experienced when we walk with the Shepherd. His sacrifice calls us to respond with faith, trust, obedience, and gratitude. Like Him we are to live sacrificially for others—serving, forgiving, and loving. This reflects the life of the Good Shepherd in us.

Jesus brings life. Luke 2:10: - “And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.”

Everyone must decide for themselves. Matthew 4:19: “Then He said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.’”

Life in Jesus. Luke 9:23: “And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

God's Greatest Gift Is Life in Him.

Abraham Lincoln coined the phrase, “Actions Speak Louder Than Words” at a time of great civil unrest. We see in the Bible this teaching, “Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice”. – Psalm 112:5 Let’s consider this verse:

1. Generosity Reveals the Heart - Words of kindness are good, but acts of kindness prove the sincerity of our hearts.

Let your giving be intentional, not just emotional.

2. Integrity Speaks Without a Voice - People may forget what we say, but they will remember how we treated them.

Let your daily decisions reflect God’s righteousness.

3. Actions Plant Seeds of Blessing - Our actions can inspire faith in those who may never read a Bible but will “read” our lives.

Psalm 112:5 calls us to a faith that is visible, tangible, and impactful—where our lives become living proof of God’s love.

Live out God’s love today and always. Amen?

“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.” ―Abraham Lincoln

I love this quote. It really speaks to us about perspective. As we transition our focus to Christmas may we focus on the positive and not the negative. Let us be known as givers and not takers. Think about how those shepherds responded on that first Christmas.

“When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” 16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.” – Luke 2:15-18

If we are Jesus to the world, then let all our actions, words, and thoughts be His as well.

May this Christmas season be one that we will rejoice that “the Lord has come” and now lives in us.

As a Child by Pastor Ty

Early in the movie, "It’s a Wonderful Life", Mr. Potter and Peter Bailey are verbally sparring about Building and Loan matters. Potter suggests Peter isn't putting enough pressure on people to pay their mortgages. “But times are tough”, the Building and Loan founder points out. "Then foreclose!" says Potter. "I can't do that," Peter objects. "These families have children." "They're not my children," gruffs Potter. "But they're somebody's children," maintains Peter.

In this single exchange, we see how two men look at the same circumstances through such different eyes. It’s all a matter of perspective – helping others and caring for children. You see to be right with God everyone must approach Him with childlike faith.

"That you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights to the world." Philippians 2:15

May we go and do likewise. Amen?

Hope and Perspective by Pastor Ty

In the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” we see a great change in the character, George Bailey. What is different about George Bailey's life after Clarence (Angel) shows him what life would have been like without him? In terms of circumstances, absolutely nothing. At this point, for all he knows his life is exactly as it was a few hours before; Clarence did nothing to change that.

The Bailey Building and Loan has still lost $8000- it could be forced to close and people could lose their life savings and jobs, rumors of embezzlement – the family ruined – George’s Arrest -Scandal!

But George has changed! He has a new Attitude… a new Perspective on what’s really important Family, Friends and his Faith in God.

It’s easy to forget in the movie that the real change has nothing to do with money and affection on Christmas Eve. The real change is within his soul. For the first time George Bailey is looking at life with new eyes.

Same for a group of shepherds at the first Christmas – they had a change I attitude/perspective in Luke 2 the angels put on a celebration to announce the birth of Jesus. The shepherds went and found the baby Jesus. Their station in life had not changed but their attitude had: The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. (V20)

May this Christmas give us a new perspective and a vertical focus all year long.

Giving with Thanks by Pastor Ty

When we give with a thankful heart, we reflect the very nature of God, who gave us everything — even His only Son.

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 instructs us – “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Giving with thanks transforms not only our lives but the lives of those around us. Before giving, pause and count your blessings. Gratitude transforms giving from obligation to celebration.

Giving isn't just a transaction — it's worship . When we give cheerfully, we honor God and reflect His generous nature. Let your giving be intentional and joyful. It's not about the amount, but the heart behind it.

Giving with thanks is not about how much you have - it is about how much you trust . It’s about recognizing that everything we have is a gift from God and choosing to give back with joy.

Remember: giving with thanks is a lifestyle , not just a holiday or a moment but every day. Amen?

"I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you." – Jesus in John 15:15

Friendship is important. God wants us to have friends that help complete us into the person that lives for Him.

Here are three verses to consider on this topic:

1: Recognize the Gift of Friendship from God "A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity." – Proverbs 17:17

True friendship is a reflection of God’s love for us. Friends are placed in our lives as a divine blessing to support, encourage, and to uplift us.

2: Gratitude Through Action "Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." – 1 John 3:18

Gratitude for friends should go beyond words; it should be demonstrated through acts of kindness, support, and loyalty.

3: Encourage and Pray for Your Friends "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." – 1 Thessalonians 5:11

One of the greatest ways to show thankfulness for friends is to pray for them and encourage them in their walk with God.

May we always cherish and nurture the friendships God has blessed us with – Give Thanks!

Submission by definition is “the decision and action of accepting, yielding, surrendering to a superior force, will or authority of another person.’ It is often misunderstood as weakness, but in God’s kingdom, it is a mark of wisdom and strength. James 3:13-18 contrasts worldly wisdom with godly wisdom, showing us how submission to God and His ways leads to peace, righteousness, and harmony.

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. 17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. - James 3:13-18

True wisdom begins with submission to God. It is not about selfish ambition or envy but about living humbly and reflecting God’s character. Surrender your pride and desires to God. Seek His guidance in decisions, trusting His wisdom over worldly advice. Godly wisdom produces peace, not chaos.

Submission to God’s ways leads to a life marked by purity, mercy, and harmony with others. In conflicts, choose peace over strife. Submit your emotions and reactions to God, allowing His Spirit to guide you toward reconciliation. When we submit to God’s wisdom and live in peace, we bear the fruit of righteousness. Submission transforms our lives and impacts those around us.

Remember - Submission is not about losing control but about giving control to the One who knows best

Be Transformed by the Renewing of Your Mind - Romans 12:2 — “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Living like Christ begins with a transformed mind. We must reject worldly values and allow the Holy Spirit to reshape our thoughts, desires, and priorities. Daily meditation on Scripture and prayer renews our thinking, aligning us with the heart of Christ.

Walk in Love as Christ Loved - Ephesians 5:2 — “And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us…” Christ’s love was sacrificial, unconditional, and active. To live in His likeness, we must love others not just in word, but in deed. Forgive freely, serve humbly, and love relentlessly—even when it costs us something.

Pursue Holiness in Conduct - 1 Peter 1:15-16 — “But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct…” Holiness isn’t perfection—it’s separation from sin and dedication to God. Christ lived a sinless life, and we are called to reflect that purity. Guard your heart, flee temptation, and let your lifestyle preach louder than your words.

Bear the Fruit of the Spirit - Galatians 5:22-23 — “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…” Stay connected to Christ through worship, fellowship, and obedience, and let His Spirit produce fruit in your life. Remember - Living in the likeness of Christ isn’t a one-time decision—it’s a daily surrender.

Let your life be a mirror that reflects His grace, truth, and glory.

Time is short. Eternity is real. People are dying every day - without Him.

Be like Jesus.

What is integrity? Is it important? To a Christ follower integrity is vital… Psalm 25:20-21 - Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. 21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, Lord, is in you.

Biblical integrity means living a life that is consistent with God’s Word — in thoughts, words, and actions. It involves honesty, moral uprightness, and faithfulness to God’s commandments even when no one is watching. Proverbs 10:9 - “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.” Integrity is not merely external compliance, but inward sincerity aligned with God’s truth.

God Himself is the ultimate example of integrity—He is unchanging, truthful, and perfectly righteous. Christians are called to imitate God’s holiness. Living with biblical integrity mirrors the character of God to others, serving as a powerful witness to His reality.

A Christian’s testimony depends heavily on integrity. When believers embody honesty and transparency, they earn the trust of their community and become credible ambassadors of Christ Without integrity, faithfulness is questioned, and the gospel’s message is undermined.

Biblical integrity guards against hypocrisy and spiritual downfall. James 1:22 - Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

For Christians, integrity is not optional but foundational to authentic faith and discipleship. Be consistent in your faith walk – focus and follow Jesus’ example.

Acceptance

Let’s look at three key aspects of acceptance through the writing of a man named Paul as found in 1 Timothy 1:12-17 :

1. God's Acceptance is Rooted in Grace Paul acknowledges that he was once a blasphemer, persecutor, and violent man, yet God accepted him and entrusted him with ministry. (v. 12-14) "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service." God's acceptance is not earned by our deeds but is a gift of grace. No matter our past, His grace is sufficient to transform and use us for His glory. - no one is beyond God’s reach.

2. God's Acceptance is for the Broken Paul humbly admits his sinfulness, yet he highlights that Christ came specifically for people like him—the broken, the lost, and the sinful.(v. 15) "Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst." Acceptance begins with recognizing our need for a Savior. God doesn't wait for us to "fix" ourselves; He meets us in our brokenness.

3. God's Acceptance Leads to Transformation and Praise Paul’s life became a testimony of God’s patience and mercy, leading him to glorify God with his life and words. (v. 16-17) "But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life." When we experience God's acceptance, it transforms us and compels us to live in gratitude and worship. Our lives become a reflection of His grace to others.

A life changed by God's acceptance can inspire others to seek Him, just as Paul's testimony continues to do.

Moving from Nadir to Nadar

"Nadir" as a word does not appear in the Bible; rather, it is an Arabic derived term adopted into English. It is Defined as your lowest point or opposite to zenith… The Bible refers to such a place as the “Pit”. The Biblical Hebrew word “Nadar”, which sounds similar, means "to vow" and denotes a solemn promise made to God in faith and devotion.

We can all feel broken, weary, or hopeless, but when it happens be prepared for a divine offer from God:

1. God Offers His Presence When life feels unbearable, God doesn’t stand at a distance. He draws near. - “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 You may feel alone, but you are never forsaken. God’s nearness is your lifeline.

2. God Offers His Strength - At our lowest, our strength fails—but God’s strength begins. - “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles…”- Isaiah 40:31 Your weakness is not a barrier—it’s an invitation for God’s power to take over.

3. God Offers His Grace - Grace isn’t just for the righteous—it’s for the weary, the wounded, the ones who’ve run out of options. - “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 God’s grace meets us in our mess and lifts us with mercy.

You don’t have to earn your way out of the pit. Grace reaches down and pulls you up. Move from your “Nadir” to your “Nadar” Focus on your proximity to God and be aware of your nearness to Jesus.

Trust what Jesus offers you, in faith, for His presence, strength, and grace.

Weekly Pastor’s Blog - Nails on the Cross

Let’s take a look at the symbolism of the Nails of the Cross. They are great examples of Jesus’ Responsibility, Focus, Faithfulness, and Divine Purpose. Nails physically held Jesus on the cross, but ultimately, He had the power to come down at any moment.

Matthew 26:52-54 – 52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?”

The nail symbolizes the responsibility shared by many — the Jews, Romans, Judas, and most importantly, each of us, who bear responsibility for Jesus’ crucifixion. Jesus willingly accepted the nails as part of God’s divine plan for salvation, fulfilling Scripture and showing the depth of His obedience and love.

1 Peter 1:18-19 states - 18 “For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.”

Thank you Jesus for showing us the Way to the Father through your great Gift of Salvation. Amen.

Letting God help with your problems is not weakness — it’s wisdom. He is the God who parted seas, calmed storms, healed the broken, and raised the dead. He can handle your situation.

Definition of Legacy : the meaningful long-lasting impact of particular events, actions, of a group, or individual’s person’s life.

Legacy is built daily, yearly, and through all your days. It comes by making meaningful choices throughout your life.

Consider Psalm 145:1-7 - A psalm of praise. Of David.

“1 I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. 2 Every day I will praise you and extol your name forever. 3 Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. 4 One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. 5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works. 6 They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds. 7 They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.”

David focuses on what’s important and meaningful – the Lord! He is to be praised and shared from one generation to another.

Ask yourself; “What am I doing to make my life (and Church) meaningful?”

Leaving a Legacy that Matters is a wonderful way to say “Thank You” to God and others. Today is a great place to start… Amen?

hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you

have.”

Creating a Welcoming Church - Luke 14:23 “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to

come in, so that my house will be full.’” Romans 12:13 “Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.”

Building Community - Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Matthew 18:20 “For

where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Invite someone to “Come sit” with you this Sunday. It could change lives.

Day by Day believers are to live a life of consistent devotion and service to Christ: Colossians 3:23–24 – “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”

This Involves 4 Truths:

1. Daily Surrender - Giving Each Day to Christ Every morning is a new opportunity to surrender our will to Jesus.

2. Faithful in the Small Things Working for Jesus isn’t always obvious - it’s often in the unnoticed acts of kindness, integrity, and

diligence.

3. Strength for Today, Hope for Tomorrow - Serving Jesus can be tiring, but He renews us daily.

4. Working for the Reward That Lasts - Our labor for Jesus has eternal significance.

“ Most of life and ministry is boring! But boring is the Pathway to Greatness! Consistency + Faithfulness x Time = a Lasting Impact .

These things close the Gap between good intentions and action! Keystone habits are small and consistent but causes a chain reaction that triggers right behaviors in other areas. Focus on one small habit…”

Commit to working for Jesus day by day—in every task, every conversation, and every moment. Even when no one is watching!

Welcome Home

Living and being part of God’s family means we are chosen, united, commissioned, and loved. Let’s live out our identity with joy and purpose—welcoming others into the family with open arms. We have a great example of “Church Family” in Acts 9:31 - Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.

Here are four truths:

1: We Are Adopted into God’s Family God didn’t just save us—He chose us. Ephesians 1:5 – “He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.” Adoption means intentional love and belonging. We are not spiritual orphans; we are sons and daughters of the King.

2: We Are United by Faith, Not by Background God’s family transcends race, class, and gender. Galatians 3:28 – “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Unity in diversity is a hallmark of the Church. Our common faith in Christ binds us together more deeply than any earthly tie.

3: We Share in the Family Mission Being part of God’s family means participating in His work. Matthew 28:19–20 – “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We’re not just recipients of grace—we’re ambassadors of it. The family business is redemption, and we all have a role.

4: We Are Called to Love One Another Deeply Love is the family trait of God’s household. Our love for one another proves our spiritual DNA. 1 John 4:7 – “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” Forgiveness, grace, and compassion should mark our relationships.

Let’s live out these truths everyday and not just attend church—let’s be the church.

Uncommon Call

Finding your uncommon call is a process intended to inspire believers to embrace the unique purpose God has placed on their lives. Here are 4 directional points from the Bible:

1. Recognize That You Are Called - You weren’t made by accident, you were crafted with intention. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10 Your calling may not look like anyone else’s, and that’s the point. Reflect on your passions, gifts, and burdens—they often point to your divine assignment.

2. Listen for God’s Direction - The uncommon call often requires uncommon listening. “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” — Isaiah 30:21 God speaks through Scripture, prayer, and even closed doors… Create space for silence and prayer to hear God’s guidance clearly.

3. Step Out in Faith, Not Fear - Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s obedience in spite of it. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7 The path may be unfamiliar, but God equips those He calls. Take one bold step toward your calling, even if it feels risky.

4. Grow Where You’re Planted - Your current season is part of your preparation. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28 Even setbacks can shape you for your uncommon assignment. It’s time to grow regardless of your circumstances.

Today is a great time to start to embrace your present with God’s unique purpose for your life.

Understanding God

The Gospel

A few years ago during the Children’s message, I used a seat belt to describe being safe and secure. The Gospel gives us those assurances plus salvation. All mankind is given the choice of life or death. Even though Deuteronomy was written by Moses more than 3300 years ago it still speaks to us today. When it comes to understanding God here are 3 things to consider as we study Deuteronomy 30:11-20:

1. There’s a Choice

^11 “ Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. ¹² It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” ¹³ Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” ¹⁴ No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it. ¹⁵ See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. ¹⁶ For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

2. There are Consequences

¹⁷ But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, ¹⁸ I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.

3. There is a Commitment

¹⁹ This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live ²⁰ and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”

The Choice is Yours. Choose life in Christ. Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. ⁷ If you really know me, you will know ^] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” - John 14:6-7

It’s time to let God fasten your seatbelt.

Share God's Love with one another

Many people like their churches just the way they are. Why would someone want to invite another to church? In order to be obedient to the Great Commission we must. We are told that we should share the love of God even with our enemies and those in sin.

Let’s look at John 1:12–13, Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— ¹³ children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

People who have been touched by God are so moved by him that they want to introduce everyone to him, including their enemies. All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Let's remember that when we are considering who to ask to church - not just today but every Sunday.
