We, the members of Immanuel Baptist Church, believe the following:

• Our chief purpose is to glorify God. We worship the Lord together in the power of His Spirit and the light of His Truth.
• The Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We promise to study God’s Word diligently and to submit our lives to its authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
• Eternal life is gained only through faith in Jesus Christ. We agree to proclaim the Gospel and seek together to win, baptize, and teach disciples for Him.
• Christ has commissioned His church to make disciples of all nations. We pledge to make the cause of missions a priority.
• All we have belongs to God. We agree to give cheerfully and regularly our time, talent, and money for the support of the ministry at home and abroad.
• Christ has called us to love one another through His Spirit in one accord. We will:
• Give and receive admonition with humility and compassion
• Remember each other in prayer
• Aid each other in sickness and distress
• Refrain from all forms of gossip
• Be gracious in speech
• Be slow to anger
• Encourage unity actively
• Families are of vital importance to God; therefore, we promise to place our homes under Jesus Christ through discipleship and values.
• All life is a gift from God, therefore, we commit ourselves to a ministry of strengthening Christian families.
• Marriage is a holy biblical covenant between one man and one woman as ordained by God.
• We are set apart from the world for Christ’s purpose; therefore, we need to avoid all practices that would limit, diminish, or compromise the effectiveness of our witness.
