Pastoral Ministry

The Pastor is the Spiritual Leader of the Church. The shepherd of the Flock. The Pastoral Ministry is about creating an atmosphere of loving kindness and sincere worship through the Word of God. The Pastor ministries continually monitor the spiritual pulse of the church as he leads us in a closer walk with our Lord. The Pastor has a hand in all ministries and groups within the Church to provide support and guidance in the understanding of God’s Will for Immanuel Baptist Church.

Children's Ministry

Children are full of curiosity, wonder, and excitement. At Immanuel, we believe that childhood is a wonderful time to begin teaching the next generation of believers the Word of God. Our “King’s Kids” Ministry accomplishes this in ways that are educational but also fun! King’s Kids is open to all children, Ages 4 years to 7th grade. Come join in the adventure of worshiping the Lord! Do you have Children 3 years or younger? No problem! We have our Nursery staff standing by!

Ignite Ministry

The teen years are some of the most formative years of a young person’s life. Self-discovery about who they are and what they believe becomes increasingly difficult in an age of 24-hour news cycles and endless internet access. Our goal at Immanuel is to bring our teens together in a safe and fun environment where they can learn and about God’s plan as they grow their relationship with Christ. We provide a judgement-free atmosphere of biblically grounded education as well as fun activities where they can express themselves as individuals while socializing with a group of their peers. We welcome teens from 13 to 18 to come and join the excitement up on the Hill!

Music Ministry

Raise your voice and sing His praises! The Music Ministry is responsible for bringing Worshipful music to help us prepare our hearts and minds to receive the Lord’s word. Music is the universal language that everyone understands! Do you play an instrument? We have a place for you! Do you enjoy singing along with the praise team? We have a place for you! Come and worship with us!

Digital Communications Ministry

The Digital Communications Ministry (A.K.A. The Media Ministry) is a newly established ministry with the mission of bringing the Word of God to our congregation and the community through Digital outlets. The primary mission statement of the ministry is “Enhancement without distraction” and this is achieved through subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) creative additions to Church Services, music ministry, and other forms of digital media. The Media Ministry is involved in all things digital or electronic and serves also as the De facto I.T., A/V, and Sound department for the church. The Media Team is also responsible for maintaining our website and social media accounts, creation of graphics and video content for services and advertisements… the list goes on and on!

Deacons Ministry

The Deacon Ministry team in cooperation of the Senior Pastor exercises general spiritual oversight of the entire membership. The Deacon Ministry team is a group of men who may listen and counsel with a church family and also provided assistance to a needy family. The Deacons will put their arms around someone who comes to the alter for decision or comfort. The Deacons often initiate vision and direction.

Deaconess Ministry

The Deaconess Ministry team in cooperation with the Senior Pastor promote the general spiritual welfare of the entire membership. The Deaconess Ministry team will assist converts in baptism. They are the arms that reach out to the grieving in a family’s loss by providing food and comfort. Deaconesses are often the “behind the scenes” ladies that will make calls, visit the shut in, work on special events, and even church decorations.
