23. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord,
not for human masters, 24. since you know that you will receive an
inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
- Colossians 3:23-24
There are three questions we need to ask ourselves.
1.Where have I been? Honestly admit your mistakes. ask God for
forgiveness and be about HIS business! If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all
unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 - Let us not become weary in doing good, for
at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9
2. Where am I now? The choices we make need to honor Christ in
everything we do… For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to
do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:10
3. Where am I going? Honor and deal with the past but keep going
forward. God will feed your heart through His Word, but we must seek
Him to be transformed. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the
Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and
a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Consider these questions… “and Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart”…
