Imagine a phone ringing in the middle of the night. You don’t know who it is, but you sense it’s important. You have two choices: ignore it or answer it. In many ways, God’s calling on our lives is like that—persistent, personal, and purposeful. The question is: will we pick up?
Consider these verses: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6
God’s call is personal and purposeful. It’s not a random assignment — it’s part of His plan to redeem the world through you. Whether it’s a new job, a relationship, a service, or a season of waiting, His voice is clear: “Be not wise in thine own eyes; fear the LORD, and depart from evil”.
When He calls, trust Him fully. Don’t rely on your own logic or fear. Lean on His wisdom, which is perfect and unchanging. In all your ways — big or small — acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.
Respond with faith and obedience to His Calling. Give Him what you have and let Him work wonders through you. When you commit your way to Him, He will act — not just in the moment, but in the long-term.
When God calls you, trust Him with all your heart, acknowledge Him in every step, and let His guidance direct your life. He will lead you into the purpose He has for you. God is calling you—not just to believe in Him, but to follow Him wholeheartedly. The call may not always be easy, but it will always be worth it. The question is: When He calls, will you answer?
