14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? “Who in your life needs an invitation?                         

God still works through the local church to change lives. Your invitation could be the beginning of someone’s salvation story. 

Meditate on what God’s Word says about:           

    Sharing the Gospel - Mark 16:15 “He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’” 1 Peter 3:15 “But in your

     hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you

     have.”

    Creating a Welcoming Church - Luke 14:23 “Then the master told his servant, ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to

     come in, so that my house will be full.’” Romans 12:13 “Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.”

    Building Community - Galatians 6:2 “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Matthew 18:20 “For

     where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

  Invite someone to “Come sit” with you this Sunday. It could change lives.
