Legacy Matters by Pastor Ty



Definition of Legacy: the meaningful long-lasting impact of particular events, actions, of a group, or individual’s person’s life.

Legacy is built daily, yearly, and through all your days. It comes by making meaningful choices throughout your life.

Consider Psalm 145:1-7 - A psalm of praise. Of David. 

“1 I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. 2 Every day I will praise you and extol your name forever. 3 Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. 4 One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. 5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works. 6 They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds. 7 They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.”

David focuses on what’s important and meaningful – the Lord! He is to be praised and shared from one generation to another.

Ask yourself; “What am I doing to make my life (and Church) meaningful?”

Leaving a Legacy that Matters is a wonderful way to say “Thank You” to God and others. Today is a great place to start… Amen?
