Remaining isn’t a suggestion from Jesus — it’s a survival strategy. It’s the difference between a life that looks Christian and a life that actually lives in Christ. Remaining is the quiet, daily decision to stay where the life is. To stay where the strength is. To stay where the fruit is. To stay where Jesus is. Because the truth is simple: everything in your life depends on what you stay connected to. You can attend church and still not remain. You can quote Scripture and still not remain. You can look spiritual and still not remain. But Jesus stands in John 15 and says, “If you remain in Me… you will bear much fruit.” Not might. Not maybe. Not if conditions are perfect. You will.
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me”. – John 15:1–4
Today, God is calling His people back to the Vine. Back to the Source. Back to the place where life flows, where joy grows, where peace stays, where fruit comes naturally — not through striving, but through remaining.
